What are some of the things that are slowing down the study of Australian bigcats ?Well, the first is that many farmers and hunters and members of the public are reluctant to come forward due to the chance of ridicule. Then the actual hunters of the australian big cats themselves wreck it.Seriously..we have met "experts" who are interested in reports like pumas in Victoria and they have managed to collect no evidence of large felids in Australia in 10 years.
We have "experts" in NSW who have proven they cannot tell the difference between a normal sized domestic cat and something from the panthera genus. How could people be that ignorant after years of "work".?
